The Iceross Seal-In X5 transfemoral liner is the first liner of its kind with five integrated seals that deliver the most comfortable and secure suspension to date.
Its airtight fit is thanks to the flexible silicone suction suspension system, and its minimized pistoning and enhanced rotational control allows patients to enjoy greater comfort and stability.
It is recommended that Iceross Seal-In X5 Transfemoral Liner is used in conjunction with the IcelockR 500 Series Valve.
The way in which a socket is suspended from the residual limb is a key factor in user comfort and confidence. For those who want an effective, as well as a very comfortable solution, there is now Iceross Seal-In X5, the no-fuss silicone liner that literally seals itself into the socket.
Experience the comfort of silicone in a liner designed specifically for people with above-knee (transfemoral) amputations, shaped to fit the thigh, not the calf.
The X5 part of the name comes from the five rings which produce an airtight seal as the user steps into the socket. The liner and the rings conform beautifully to the shape of the residual limb and the inside of the socket. This creates an excellent fit and helps to distribute pressure evenly and avoid uncomfortable pressure peaks.
There is no need for a sleeve (sometimes used with other liners to keep the socket in place), which means greater freedom of movement. A button on the socket valve releases the airtight seal instantly, allowing the user to step out of the socket as easily as they step in, or simply release it while seated.
Who it is for:
• People who want good levels of control and comfort from a liner.
• Those who want greater freedom of movement.
• People who enjoy all types of activities (any impact level).
